My last visit in june gave me a full house i<br />have caught a double a twenty a thirty a fourty and to top it all a fifty. I have visited the lake<br />probably 6 or 7 times and have never failed to catch a thirty pounder. My first two trips to <br />the lake one for 3 nights and one for 4 nights culminated in me catching 56 fish including<br />16 thirties to 38lb, 36 twenties and 4 doubles in fact on the 4 night trip i had to pull my<br />rods in so i could get some sleep before driving home.<br />Obviously as the fishing pressure has increased the fishing has become a little harder, but<br />the size of fish has increased remarkably, i have hooked a fish i think twice, and lost it<br />unfortunately that both Rod and i [we have seen it once i had it at the net] believe would <br />easily break the lake record it fights like a demon, i had it on for over 30 min every time i got it<br />near the net it would take 30 yards of line i was gutted.<br />Rod will let you do your own thing, but if you are struggling will give you all the advice you could<br />need and will also place your baits with his bait boat. He is a great bloke and likes the occasional<br />social, he especially likes it when i cook for him.<br />Back to the fishing the last trip in june 4 days the weather was against us, well hot in the thirties every day, i took my father in law a seasoned fisherman but limited experience of carp fishing<br />his pb was double figures he ended up bagging a 38lb mirror along with 5 other fish to 34lb<br />i ended up at last catching a fourty 42-08 to complete the full house and 4 other fish to mid<br />30's [how long is it going to be b4 a 60lb fish is caught] not long i think, i hope its me!!<br />I am going back soon, hopefully oct if not dec [it fishes in the winter aswell]<br />Good luck all Bob <br />his first trip to france, a seasoned fisherman but had not done a lot of carp fishing<div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/7674239358921958755-927108630435456302?l=lakealbertfishing.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>Bobhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/16669467402724559417noreply@blogger.com0
